Womens Guild News and Notes
We discussed several items at our May 25 meeting led by Carolyn Loch. Women's guild asked Wayne, our custodian, to give the church a good polishing, including cobweb removal before Easter. He did a fantastic job. We would like to tackle the old narthex next. Choir robes were washed and donated to the Harford Congregational Church for quilt stuffing. They were given to us many years ago by a church in Great Bend. The stoles have been stored for future use. They were purchased in memory of Dianna Carros. Hop Bottom Sale days are on July 13. We will again serve breakfast at 8:00 a.m. Eileen will coordinate this with breakfast casseroles, cinnamon rolls, and juice. Pies will once again, be offered for sale and lunch will be hot dogs and wimpies. We will also have tables of items available for a donation with proceeds going to the Summer Lunch Box. Look for a pie sign up in the back of the church soon. Our next meeting will be on Saturday, June 22 at 10:15 a.m. Our meetings last only an hour. We'd love to see our ladies there!
